Overview: A 2 player narrative Twine game where players work together, We Were Here style to escape a futuristic prison. Work is entirely my own.

Platform: Twine

Team: Solo project

This game was designed to evoke a deep sadness and loss in one of the players. To do so, I designed an experience where two player’s complete puzzles together, and each player must rely on the other player. Inbetween puzzles are character building moments where one of the player’s develops their character based on specific questions. This experience creates (shown in playtests) to create a collaborative bond and a connection to the fictional character. Therefore, when one character is killed, and their screen goes black, that bond is leveraged to evoke the original goal emotion of sadness and loss for the other player.

Sphinx Trap

Overview: A 4 player turn-based puzzle card game, where the players are DnD characters that must answer a Sphinx’s riddles and use their abilities before time runs out!

Platform: Virtual Table Top
